Authors who support charities and good works through their writing:
Articles about why you do this and what you have published to support your charity. To include details of your book and the charity including how others can support this.
Travel Tales and Stories:
Articles and stories about your travels and details of your book should you have anything published on this subject. Pictures to be included.
Your book published in up to 6 sections.
Regular and Occasional Contributors:
Poetry & Prose pages of up to 4 pieces in each issue.
Short stories and essays up to 2 pieces for each issue.
Articles on helping writers’ up to 2 items per issue.
Articles from specialists on helping to get the most out of life.
Articles on better health for writers’
Memoir, an extract to be published from one memoir an issue with links to the full piece.
Film, Theatre and Television Script Writing
Reviews on new books for children and adults.
Articles of interest for anyone wanting to take up illustrating for books and articles. This can include a short bio and contact details.
Articles from publishers on how to get the best results, this can include contact details.
Articles on how and why you network.
Pages of promoted books, please ask for a form and charge applies.
Stories, essays and poems from children up to and including the age of 18. Drawings and pictures can be included.
Children and young adult authors:
Articles to help and encourage young writers. This can also include practice papers.
Stories, essays and poems for children and young adults.

This website is for the benefit of writers’, authors’, publishers and illustrators’ and any submissions are accepted on a voluntary basis only.
Submissions must be the original work of the submitting author and must not be a copy of another person’s work unless an accompanying letter of agreement is attached.
We accept Short Stories & Essays, Fiction and Non-fiction, Poetry & Prose, Modern & Traditional, Articles on Writing, Travel Tales from around the World, Book News, Author News, Press Releases associated with books and writing.
We welcome work from anyone who supports a charity through their books and writing. This usually takes the form of a monthly feature.
An entry on the book promotions page is a once only payment of £30 in advance and can be paid via PayPal. Please fill in the promotion form.
A maximum of 4 poems, 2 short stories or 2 articles should be sent at any one time. Sending your whole portfolio will not be put forward for consideration.
Add your name and email address to anything you send in.
The Writers’ Magazine is totally impartial and is not connected to any other site, club, group or company.
Each issue is oversubscribed, so some contributions will be held over for future issues if they are passed for publication.
There is no guarantee your submission will be published, and no particular date of publication can be promised.
If you would like to offer a contribution, please complete the submission forms.
After completing and sending your form please wait for a response before submitting your complete work.
All forwarded submissions should include a short biography and thumbnail picture.
Forwarded contributions must be in MS Word and any images in .jpg or .png
Please do not ask us to search for your work on any other site to read or copy as this will be declined.
All published work remains the property of the author and the Writers’ Magazine does not hold any copyright of anything printed in its pages unless stated.
The Writers’ Magazine reserves the right to republish any work printed in these pages after consulting the author.
